To begin working with the violations and penalties module in your Jisr account, the company’s violation policies and corresponding penalties must be activated to the system to specify which rules in each area will be enforced and which will not.
How to set your company's violations and penalties/actions?
1. Settings> Organization> Violations & Penalties
2. From this page, admins can perform the following actions to configure the company's adopted violations:
- Add a new policy and its penalties that are not predefined in the system. This allows you to specify the name of the violation, the company policy area it relates to, the actions or penalties to be taken, and the employees subject to this violation policy.
*The new violation must include at least one employee in order to be saved.*
While setting the actions for violations please note the following:
- Users can define up to 7 different actions for each violation occurrence. For example, the action for an unexcused absence on the first occurrence can be set to a warning, on the second occurrence to a deduction, and so on.
- The actions field does not accept manual entries; admins must select from the available labor law compliance actions listed in the dropdown menu.
What are the available actions to manage violations settings?
From the dropdown menu displayed on the violations and penalties page, additional actions can be taken to streamline the management of violation settings:
1. Enable All Violations: Apply all listed violations across all sections to begin working with them.
2. Disable All Violations: Prevent any actions from being applied, even if violations occur.
3. Reset All to law Default: This will restore all sections to their original settings as if it were the first use of the module. All manually added violations or custom actions will be removed.
4. Manage Preferences: Allows Admins to set the number of days after which a single occurrence of an employee violation recorded in the system will be removed (if the same violation was recorded more than once by the same employee).
Note: The violation will remain in the employee's profile even after the expiration of the period and its status will become "expired", but it will not disappear.
Where else can you set up the company's violation policy in the system?
Under the Employees tab, the reported violations page will display all previously reported violations, if any. Additionally, there is a 'Configure Violations & Penalties' button that redirects to the settings.
