The journey of using the Jisr Applicant Tracking System (ATS) begins with the Jobs page, which includes the open positions available for hiring within the organization. Through this page, you can add and publish open jobs on the system. This process involves the following steps and procedures:

Add a New Job
To add or create a new job in the system, click on the option "New Job" and then enter the following information:
Job Details:
- Job Title: Enter the title of the vacant position in both languages (note that the job title field in English is mandatory).
- About the Company: Provide a brief overview of the company in the designated field (optional). This summary will appear to candidates when applying for the posted position if entered. Additionally, activate the "Use for all new jobs" option if you want the company overview to appear automatically when adding new job postings on the system.
- Job Description: Enter the details of the job description for the open position. You can also attach any job-related links using the toolbar above the job description field.
- Job Type: Set the job type from the predefined options in the system (e.g., full-time, part-time, etc.). These types can be configured in Settings > Employee Profile > Employment Types.
- Location: Select the job location from the list of predefined locations in the system. Locations can be configured in Settings > Org. Structure > Locations
- Business Unit: Choose the business unit from the list of predefined units in the system. Work units can be configured in Settings > Organizational Structure > Business Units.
- Department: Select the department associated with the job from the list of predefined departments in the system. Departments can be configured in Settings > Organizational Structure > Departments.'

Recruiter (Optional): The recruiter has full permissions for this job, such as viewing job details, candidates, comments, etc. However, the recruiter cannot delete the job or reassign candidates to other positions.
- Hiring Manager (Optional): Assigned at the job level, the hiring manager has permissions to view job details, candidates, and comments, as well as add comments. They can also move candidates from one stage to another or add candidates to this job.
Note: If a user is assigned as the hiring manager for a specific job, they will not be able to edit or delete the job. Additionally, they cannot modify candidate details, assign candidates to other jobs, or manage job listings.
- Job Notifications: By enabling the “Receive Job Notifications” toggle and selecting users (who have viewing access to the Applicant Tracking System), they can view the job as "Watchers” and receive updates/notifications about all major events and actions taken at the job level. More details.
Note:
It is possible to assign multiple users as recruiters or hiring managers for a single job. More details about the difference between the two roles.
- After completing all the steps of the form—hiring stages, application form, and evaluation—the job will be ready to be published on the system.
- To publish the job, click "Save Changes"
