To streamline the recruitment process and enhance efficiency, users can now duplicate existing job postings and their associated assessment cards. This feature saves time and effort by enabling users to reuse previously created job configurations and assessments as templates for new postings.
Relevant Use Cases for Duplication
-
- Easily duplicate an existing job posting or assessment card, including all configurations and details.
- Duplicate jobs and assessment cards while modifying details to match new role requirements.
To duplicate a job:
Navigate to Applicant tracking> Jobs> Duplicate
After duplicating the job, the new copy will be in an editable form, allowing users to modify all job details as needed to match the desired job posting.
To duplicate an assessment card:
When creating a new job, users can reuse an existing assessment card instead of starting from scratch, saving time and effort.
You can find the steps for adding a new job in the Adding new jobs to the ATS article
The assessment card step allows users to either create new assessments or choose from the available assessments in the 'Card name' dropdown menu.
If the user needs to select from the available assessments, they can click on the card name field, and a dropdown menu with all the available assessments will be displayed.
Please note that:
- Upon selecting an existing assessment, all details of this assessment will be copied, except for the card owner's name, which will default to the name of the user who created the assessment.
- Other users can be added alongside the original card owner.
- All assessment card fields are editable, allowing users to make the necessary changes to fit the relevant role.
Note: You can create a job without reaching the Assessment Card step. However, once you reach this step, the system will not allow you to create the job or save any changes unless you add at least one assessment.
Once your edits are complete and the 'Create Job' action is taken, the newly created job will be listed among the open jobs. When the job is opened, the copied assessment card will be available.
