Every job comes with specific requirements and criteria, prompting recruiters to invest time and effort in filtering candidates based on these standards to select the most suitable employees for the position.
To streamline this process, recruiters can utilize 'Auto Rejection Answers' feature for particular questions within the job application. This feature is especially helpful for screening candidates against obligatory requirements necessary to progress through the selection phase.
For example, If a recruiter is hiring an accountant specifically based in Riyadh for business-related reasons, they can include a question inquiring about the candidate's current location, and any response not indicating Riyadh will trigger an 'Auto Rejection', simplifying the filtration process for the recruiter.
To set Auto Rejection Questions:
Home Page> Recruitment
From Jobs tab, click on New Job
Ensure that you complete the job application properly, reaching the 'Application Form' step. It's important to note that the 'Auto Rejection Answers' feature will not impact any of the job creation steps until you begin adding questions.
After completing all the steps to add a job, you will reach the 'Screening Questions' section, where you need to input the questions that candidates are required to answer. Click on 'Add Questions' to proceed.
When adding your question, you'll be prompted to select the question type. Keep in mind that the 'Auto Rejection Answer' feature is exclusively available for 'Yes/No', 'Checkboxes', and 'Multiple choice' question types.
ِ
After drafting your question and selecting the appropriate question type, you can activate the 'Auto Rejection Answer' by toggling the flag next to the answer you wish to automatically reject from applicants.
When the 'Auto rejection answer' is enabled the flag turns red and the answer will be labeled accordingly.
Please note that you can set more than one response to the 'Auto rejection answer'.
Click on 'Create Job' to proceed with the application you've created.
After creating the job and receiving responses from candidates, you can identify the auto-rejected applicants using the following steps:
Home page> Applicant Tracking> Jobs
Locate the job listing among your open positions and click on it
When the job is opened, you'll find the rejected candidates listed under 'Rejected' tab.
