Shifts of type "Fixed Hours" are used to define shifts for the entire week, which can then be assigned to a number of employees instead of scheduling daily shifts for each employee individually. Jisr also allows admins to repeat these week shifts automatically, as we'll explain in this article.
Admins can add and define the fixed working hours of employees (if any) in the Shift Settings tab in the Shifts & Scheduling page:
1- To get to this page, do one of the following:
Settings page >> Attendance >> Shifts & Working Hours >> Shift Settings tab
Attendance & Leave tab in the main navigation bar >> Shifts & Scheduling >> Shift Settings tab
Under the "Fixed Hours" tab, you'll see a list of the already defined fixed shifts along with their main information. You can also edit and delete any of them using the corresponding icons.
2- Click the "New Fixed Hours" button and specify the following settings:
Name in English and Arabic.
Add shift preset for each day of the week ( weekly schedule ) by clicking on the (+) icon under each day of the week and selecting from recently created shift presets or from the All shift list presets or by creating a new shift preset.
Set the Day off by clicking on the (+) icon under the day of the week and clicking on the day off icon.
Specify when to start applying these shifts, and for how long the week shifts should be repeated automatically for the assigned employees
Note that the available repetition options are:
Repeat forever: the scheduled shifts will be repeated non-stop as long as it's not deleted
Repeat For: the scheduled shifts will be repeated for the number of weeks that you specify here
Repeat Till: the scheduled shifts will be repeated until the date that you specify here
The last step is to choose the employees that this shift schedule will be assigned to, simply by selecting them in this table
Finally, click on the "Create Fixed Hours" button at the top of page to finish creating the schedule
