What is Peer Evaluation:
Feedback process where employees receive performance input not only from their managers but also from colleagues who work closely with them.
This approach helps highlight strengths and uncover areas for development that might be invisible in traditional top-down reviews.
How to setup Peer Evaluation:
Choose the Type of Evaluation
Select “Peer Feedback” as the evaluation type. You can also choose whether to make the reviewers anonymous, ensuring that the employee receiving the feedback does not know who provided it.
Set Up Peer Selection:
Decide who will select the peers for the evaluation. You have three options:
Evaluation Form Creator
Main Evaluator / Manager
Employee Themselves
Next, set the number of peers to be selected (minimum 1, maximum 5).
Note: Anyone with evaluation management permissions can also select peers.
Criteria and Questions:
In this step, you can choose whether to enable criteria for the peer evaluation.
If criteria are disabled, adding questions becomes mandatory to create the form.
If criteria are enabled, you can add questions optionally to complement the evaluation.
Once the criteria and questions are set, you can proceed to publish the form following the same steps used for other evaluation forms.
How the Peer Selection Task Appears
Once peer selection is assigned, the task will appear in the dashboard of the person responsible for choosing peers—whether it’s the employee themselves or the manager/main evaluator. They will select the peers according to the number set in the previous step.
This ensures that the task is visible, actionable, and easy to complete for the designated person.
