After creating and saving the criteria in the evaluation form, the fourth and final step is to add the 'Questions and Decisions' section. This ensures a structured evaluation process that helps managers document employees' performance in detail, facilitating administrative decisions such as recommendations for probation extensions, training, promotions, or contract renewals.
Employees also benefit from this step by receiving clear and structured feedback from their managers, highlighting their strengths and areas for development, making the entire evaluation process more transparent.
-
- Admins (or any user with Performance Management permissions) can enable the open-ended questions provided by the system to be included in the evaluation form, depending on the evaluation type they belong to (Self, Upward, Peer, and Downward Feedback).
- Users can choose to enable or hide any question from the employee being evaluated in Downward, and Peer feedback.
- Users can also choose to hide or display the identity of the responder in Downward Feedback questions.
- Evaluators see the enabled open-ended questions during the evaluation process as part of the form.
- Evaluators can answer these questions and, if applicable, propose related actions or decisions.
- Questions hidden from employees (according to admin settings) will only be visible to evaluators and will not appear to the employee when sharing results.
- Responses to open-ended questions and any related decisions are reflected in both the Excel report (for all employees) and the PDF report (for each employee individually).
What are the system-suggested questions that can be activated?
This step, and the type of questions added in it, varies depending on the evaluation period model (Calendar Year, Contract Period, Probation Period, Fixed Duration) as well as the evaluation types selected (Self, Upward, Downward Feedback).

After completing the "Add Criteria" stage while creating the evaluation form, a page dedicated to open-ended questions will appear. This page includes various questions designed to assess achievements, strengths and weaknesses, training needs, suggestions, and other comprehensive aspects. These questions provide evaluators with a space to share qualitative insights into the employee’s performance across different areas.
