๐ ๏ธ Managing Attendance Violations with Action Statuses
The smart attendance system allows flexible handling of violations through three main action statuses:
Pending Requests, In Progress Actions, and Approved & Ready to Execute.
This article explains what each status means, when it appears, and how to deal with it.
โ 1. Pending Requests
What are they?
These are actions automatically or manually created to address a violation but are still awaiting review and approval from a manager or HR admin.
Examples:
Request to apply a deduction for an absence
Request to edit incomplete attendance hours
Request to convert overtime into time-off balance
What to do:
Review the violation and the suggested action
Choose to "Approve", "Edit", or "Reject"
Once approved, the action moves to the "In Progress" state
๐ 2. Pending Actions
What are they?
These are actions that have been approved but not yet fully executed in the system. They may require additional steps from another department, like Payroll or Finance.
What to do:
You can track these actions from the โPendingโ panel
Click Review to take the proper action.
๐ 3. Ready for Payroll
What are they?
These are actions that have completed all review and approval steps and are now ready for final implementation in the system.
What happens next?
The data is sent to payroll (for deductions, bonuses, etc.)
Attendance reports are updated based on the applied changes
These actions are considered final and need no further follow-up
