In order to facilitate the process of adjusting the current balance of leave days for employees, manual edits can be made to change the balance of the employees. This can be done for both cases, either add or deduct days from their balance. To do so:
From the Home page, click on Attendance & Leaves
Select Leave Balance
Click on Actions under the 'Manual Entry' column that belongs to the employee you need to edit their leave balance.
After clicking on 'Actions', a window will appear displaying the number of days in the current balance. Click on the 'Edit' button to proceed with filling in the following mandatory fields:
- Choose to add or deduct days from the balance.
- Enter the number of days that will be added or deducted.
- Write a note regarding this action. (Please note that this step is mandatory to mention the reason of editing the leaves balance)
Click on 'Update' to save your action.
After updating the leave balance, you'll find your last action saved in the same window, along with a history of previous updates made to this employee's balance.
Please note that manually editing an employee's balance will update their profile with the new balance. To check the updated balance on an employee's personal profile, navigate to Home page> Employees
Select Employees and choose the employee whose profile you wish to view.
Within the employee's profile, click on 'Leaves' tab.
You'll find the 'Up to date balance' displayed under 'Annual leaves overview' on the right side of the page.
