Jisr's applicant tracking system (ATS) allows users to mention a person responsible for recruitment in the comments on a candidate page.
This feature, “Mentions in the comments, has a positive impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the applicant tracking process:
1. Improving communication and information exchange: such as by facilitating direct communication between members of the recruitment team and exchanging information and comments about candidates easily and quickly.
2. Effectiveness in the process of filtering and selecting talent: making it possible to review the comments of all team members in one place, and reducing the time spent reviewing candidate files.
3. Improving the accuracy of the talent selection process: obtaining the opinions of experts.
Steps to add comments in Applicant Tracking:
Applicant Tracking >Candidates >Select the candidate you want to write a comment on, then click on his name > Select the “Comments” tab to add a comment or mention someone responsible for hiring.
Note 1: To mention a person, you must first put @ and then choose him from the list or write the name of the person you want to mention in the comments.
Note 2: Only users with custom roles to view and create comments in the Comments section will appear in the drop-down menu, they are (Recruiter, and Hiring Manager) who were selected during the creation of the job in the system and users that have an activated “View Applicant Tracking System” button located in the "Permissions" tab in the "Roles" screen in "Settings".
After adding a comment, the system enables the user to modify or delete the comment. The system also mentions the exact date and time that the comment was written.
The system sends a notification to the user referred to in the comments, and shows him that he has been mentioned in the comment. When the user clicks on the notification, the system takes the user to the "Candidates" screen, specifically to the comments box he is referred to in.
The notification will appear to the user who has the “View Applicant Tracking System” permission enabled.
