Jisr System is keen to provide the maximum amount of information relevant to each user based on their permissions and tasks, in the fewest steps. Therefore, we have added a new widget on the system's homepage, specifically for payroll runs. The relevant user will also be able to take quick actions thanks to this element, as we explain in the following article.
Who can see this element?
Only System Admins and Payroll Admins, or employees with payroll-related permissions can see this element on their homepage.
What is this widget used for?
The main purpose of this widget is to draw attention to payroll blockers, enabling the payroll admin to take swift action to complete them. Therefore, you will find one or more alerts for the following:
A payroll start is blocked because the previous pay run was not closed.
Delay in approving the attendance sheet for a payroll, if attendance approval is required.
Delay in confirming the payroll because it was not sent for review or due to a delay in approval after being sent for review.
Pay runs are blocked for any other reasons.
Note: This widget is only displayed if one of these issues exist for the defined pay groups in the system. If all payrolls are running on schedule, this element does not appear.
What information does the widget display?
The widget displays a maximum of 2 payrolls, with the ability to navigate to the main payroll page by clicking the "View all Payrolls" button.
For each payroll, the following is displayed:
The name and month of the pay run.
The payroll status to indicate why it is blocked.
The current payroll phase.
A button to execute the required action to resume the payroll.
The name of the employee who should perform the action.
