We've redesigned the Jisr homepage to be more personalized and user-friendly. 🤩
This new design is designed to help you complete your tasks faster, discover valuable features easily, and get the most out of the Jisr platform.
Previously, the homepage displayed the same content for all users, regardless of their role or permissions. This resulted in:
- Irrelevant content: You might see notifications and tasks that didn't apply to you.
- Time wasted: You had to navigate extensively to find what you needed to complete your daily tasks.
Now, your homepage is tailored specifically to you, based on your permissions and your company's workflow.
How does the new homepage work?
1. Personalized based on your permissions
The homepage no longer ignores your permissions. Instead of displaying content "for managers" or "for HR staff," the system now analyzes your specific permissions. For example, if you have permission to "view employee leave," you will immediately see shortcuts or notifications related to that task.
This ensures that the homepage only shows you the tasks and tools you are authorized to use.
2. Time-sensitive content
The homepage adapts to the workflow stages in your company. This is particularly useful for tasks that depend on specific timeframes, such as payroll and employee attendance.
For example, if you are responsible for payroll, you will see the following actions at the appropriate times:
- Before the payroll deadline: You will see tasks such as "Confirm payroll changes" or "Send the payroll report."
- After the payroll process is complete: These tasks will disappear, and other tasks relevant to that period will appear.
This ensures that the homepage always guides you to the right next step at the right time.
Some of the key features of the main screen:
Inbox: Displays urgent tasks, requests, and approvals that require your attention.
Requests: Includes leave requests, data updates, and other requests that need your approval.
Upcoming Events: Highlights special events such as birthdays or employee anniversaries.
Document Status: Alerts you to any missing documents or incomplete data in employee files.
Team Attendance Tracking: Provides a quick overview of your team's attendance status, such as absences or tardiness.
Leave Balance: Shows your current available leave balance.
Payslip: Gives you direct access to your pay statement.
Payroll widget: if you have system or payroll admin permissions, this widget will appear to alert you if one or more payrolls are blocked or delayed, due to delayed attendance or payroll approvals, or not closing a previous pay run, or other similar reasons.
