Modern institutions rely on automation to enhance operational efficiency, and linking requests to tasks is an effective solution that accelerates approval and execution processes while reducing manual errors. This feature allows employee-submitted requests to be automatically converted into tasks assigned to the relevant departments for processing.
How Does the Feature Work?
-
Submitting a Request: When an employee submits a request through the system—such as a leave request, exit permit, or travel ticket—it is recorded and routed to the appropriate department for approval based on predefined approval workflows.
-
Automatic Task Creation: Once the request is approved, the system automatically creates a linked task and assigns it to the responsible users.
-
Instant Notifications: Automatic notifications are sent to the relevant parties to inform them about the new task linked to the request.
-
Task Execution Tracking: Administrators can track and update the task status until completion.
-
Closing the Task and Request: Upon task completion, the request is automatically closed, with all actions documented for transparency and easy tracking.
How to Link a Request to a Task in the Jisr System
To enable the linking process, both the request and the task must be predefined in the system. Requests can be linked to tasks, whether standard or custom, by following these steps:
-
Navigate to Settings and select the Requests tab.
-
Choose the desired request and go to the Linked Tasks tab.
-
Click Add Task, then select the appropriate task from the predefined list.
4. The task will be successfully assigned to the request. Once the request is approved, the task will be automatically created, and relevant users will be notified.
Once an employee’s request is approved, the task is automatically generated, and an email notification is sent to the assigned person.
Employees can reassign the task to another employee by selecting a name from the list. They can also approve or reject the task.
By clicking "Mark as Completed", the request status will be updated to Request Completed.
