Easily and Accurately Add a New Employee in the System
The “Add New Employee” feature has been redesigned to offer a smart, flexible, and error-free experience. Follow the steps below to complete the new employee’s profile quickly and confidently:

If you are the system's main user (System Admin) or have been granted permission to add new employees, there are two ways to add employees in the Jisr system:
Manually through the system.
Using the Excel template.
✨ Manual Addition Steps:

From the Employees menu, click "Add Employee" and choose "Enter employee info manually."
If you choose "Email form to employee", you will be redirected to the Pre-Onboarding feature. Click here for more details about it.

Enter personal information
Fields are organized and easy to read.
Data is validated instantly (e.g., immediate alert if the ID number is incorrect).

Add job and financial information
Enter the business unit, department, and salary.
The system only displays relevant fields based on the employee type.

Assign policies
Assign leave and attendance policies in one simple step.

Upload required documents
Easily attach ID, contract, and certificates within the form.
No need for follow-ups or manual document collection later.

Ensure file completion
A progress bar and checklist display the completion status.
You can save the file as a draft anytime and continue later.
🛠️ Custom Field Addition
Users with the “Custom Fields” permission can create additional fields to record organization-specific information, such as a file number or insurance details. You can define the field type, its visibility, and whether it is required.
2. Bulk Upload via Excel Template:
If you want to add a batch of new employees at once, follow these steps:
A: Download the basic employee data template
From the homepage, go to the right-side menu:
Settings > Data import & export > Employees > Export
Note: System Admins can also download/upload the employee data template from the Employee List page.
The system will export an Excel template containing all previously added employees.
To add new employees, fill in their mandatory and optional data in the same Excel sheet, then re-upload the file in the same page and The user now has the ability to add or update emergency contacts for multiple employees at once.
You can track the upload status in the Status column.
To complete the financial data for employees added via Excel, follow the next step:
B: Download the Salary & Allowance Profile template
From the homepage, go to the right-side menu:
Settings > Data import & export > Salary & Allowance Profile > Export
The system will export an Excel template with previously added financial data.
To add financial details for the newly added employees (salary info, bank account details), enter the data in the same template, upload it again on the same page, and track the status in the Status column.
Notes:
The employee name in both Arabic and English must not contain numbers or symbols.
The ID number and email must not be already used by any existing employee in the system.
Dropdown lists in the Excel template must be used as is. If you need to add a new option to a dropdown list, it must first be defined in the system through the Settings page.
