The Jisr system provides a new feature for employee data, which is "Automatically renewing contracts for employees for the same period", which aims to simplify and improve the processes of managing employment contracts for employees in companies. This feature is an important step towards enhancing stability and trust between companies and their employees. It provides a mechanism for automatically renewing contracts according to the same terms and period without manual intervention.
Note: The user must have the permission to add or edit personal and employment information or to be the system admin.
The contract can be defined to be renewed automatically after adding the employee’s data in the system.
- Open the required employee profile, then under the Information tab, select the Contracts and probation period section
- Click the 3 dot menu next to the contract and select Edit
- In the Edit Contract window, enable the Auto renew option, which will automatically renew the contract once expired for the same period defined for it (e.g.: if the original defined contract duration is 6 months, it will be automatically renewed for another 6 months)
Note 1: The user can delete contracts, especially old contracts that are automatically created by the system.
Note 2: The modifications that occur to the contracts, the new and old values, and the reasons for the modification can be tracked from the Employee List page by clicking the 3 dot menu, then "Audit Log", to display the changes made to the employee's data, including updating the employee's contract.
You can filter the displayed logs by the action type, for example to only show logs related to contract changes
