The company can define multiple subsidiaries in this section in order to generate a separate journal for each one of these subsidiaries.
You may not actually have real subsidiaries defined in the company, but as long as you have a need to create multiple journals for a specific group of employees, you can utilize this feature for this purpose.
For example: Creating a separate journal for different business units/company brands, or a separate journal for Ajeer outsourcing companies.
In case you don't have a need to create different journals, you can skip this section by not defining any subsidiary.
Steps to activate the integration via the file or manual integration:
1- Click on Payroll
2- Select Accounting Linking
3- Click on "Start Manual Linking"
Adding a new subsidiary button.
Fill up the subsidiary name in English and Arabic.
Add the subsidiary number ( as per the accounting system )
- Organization level assignment: which will be based on the business units which you have created already, and they'll be assigned automatically.
- Custom assignment: where you can select employees based on your need by assigning the employees to each group individually.
Note: Regardless of which grouping method you have selected, you need to make sure to have all the employees assigned to at least one group, verify this before generating the journal.
