Jisr enables admins and managers to schedule shifts to employees as draft only as a form of planning, then eventually publish these shifts to the system and notify the concerned employees.
To publish draft shifts:
From the main navigation menu, go to the Attendance & Leaves > Shifts & Scheduling page
Optionally, use the quick filter "Unpublished" to show draft shifts only
You can publish the shift at different levels:
At shift level:
To publish one shift for one employee, click on the 3 dot menu of that shift and select "Publish"
Review the shift information, select whether you want to notify the employee, and click "Publish"
At one employee level:
To publish all shifts in the displayed range (weekly/daily) for one employee, use the publish action in the 3 dot menu of the employee
- The confirmation window will show a default date range based on the displayed schedule, but you can modify the range manually from the date fields
At multiple or all employees level:
Click the Publish button above the schedule
By default, the confirmation window will show the shifts for all the employees who are assigned draft shifts within the scheduler date range. But you may modify the selected employees, as well as the date range manually in the same window
Note:
Unpublished shifts will set them back to draft mode, which is invisible to employees and is not considered when calculating attendance.
