Since the automatic upload service for attendance records from Jisr Clocking devices is currently suspended, we have prepared this guide to help you extract data manually using an external storage drive (USB Flash). This ensures that employee records are preserved and accurately added to the system.
Prerequisites before starting:
A USB Flash Drive must be available.
Ensure the flash drive is formatted as FAT32 exclusively so the device can recognize it.
Steps to extract data from the fingerprint device:
Insert the flash drive: Plug the USB flash drive into the designated port on the side or back of the fingerprint device.
Access the Menu: Open the Main Menu on the device.
Settings: Navigate to the Settings option.
Export: Select the Export to USB option.
Confirmation: A confirmation message will appear; select Yes.
Select Data: Choose All to ensure all registered records are extracted.
Result: The device will export a file ending in the .dat format to the USB flash drive.
How to process and upload the data:
After obtaining the .dat file, you need to convert the data within it into an Excel format so the Jisr system can accept it. You can do this through the following methods:
Self-Conversion: Use any conversion tool available to you that converts data files to Excel.
-
Request Assistance from Our Team (Recommended): If you encounter any difficulty in the conversion process, our technical support team is happy to do it on your behalf.
Procedure: Please send the extracted .dat file to us via a support ticket or your authorized communication channels. Our team will prepare the file in a format ready for upload and send it back to you.
Steps to upload records to the Jisr system:
Once you have the ready Excel file (whether you converted it yourself or received it from the support team), you can upload it directly to the system by following the detailed steps in the following link:

We understand that this process requires extra effort, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation during these exceptional circumstances to ensure the accuracy of your employees' payroll processing.
