Add New ZKT Biometric Devices on Biotime

Flexible and Accurate Biometric Device Management
The Jasir system offers multiple methods to link biometric devices with the BioTime system, whether by selecting pre-registered devices or manually entering the serial number. It also allows for easy transfer of devices between locations, contributing to more efficient infrastructure management. The following sections provide detailed steps for each process.

Adding a New Device

Users can add a new device by clicking the "Add Device" button. A list of pre-configured devices on BioTime that haven’t been linked to Jisr system before will appear. Select the desired device and click Add.

Alternatively, a new device can be registered for the first time by manually entering the serial number and then clicking the "Add New Device" button, as shown in the image, to register it directly in BioTime.

Important Note

After linking, devices will remain in "Offline" status until the following IP address is entered into the biometric device's settings. Once the correct IP address is entered, the device will change to "Online" status.
