Recruiters often spend a significant amount of time manually reviewing résumés and matching candidate profiles with job requirements. In addition to being time-consuming, this process is also prone to human error, which can lead to inefficiencies and missed opportunities to identify top talent.
To address this, the "Score candidates" feature automates the process of analyzing candidate data from résumés and scoring how well they align with the required job criteria — a task that is typically done manually by recruiters — thereby streamlining the hiring workflow.
Using advanced analysis and matching technologies, key qualifications, skills, and experiences are quickly identified and compared with job descriptions to highlight the most suitable candidates. This allows recruiters to focus more on strategic decision-making rather than administrative tasks.
What are the objectives of using this feature?
Time Efficiency: Automating the matching of candidate résumés with job roles significantly reduces manual effort and speeds up the hiring process.

How to use the feature?
- From the Applicant Tracking window > Jobs,
- Select the job for which you want to view candidates and analyze their résumés to identify the most suitable profiles that match the job requirements.
After opening the job page, you will find the "Score Candidates" option on the right side of the page. When you click on it, the system will begin analyzing the résumés of the applicants and determine a match score for each candidate individually.
Once the score percentage appears next to the candidates, the recruiter can easily identify those with the highest match to the job requirements based on their résumés.
- If you wish to view more detailed information about a candidate’s match—specifically which skills or qualifications from their résumé align with the defined job criteria—you can open the candidate’s profile by clicking on it. On the right side of the page, you will find the "Candidate Score" section, which displays the score the candidate received, along with a list of the specific skills that matched the job requirements.
- If there are changes to the job criteria or if there are candidates whose match score has not yet been calculated:
A "Score Update Required" label will appear above the candidate's name. When viewing the candidate's profile, a "Refresh Match Score" button will be available, which will recalculate the match score based on the latest updates.
- If a candidate is added without a resumé, a notification will appear indicating that the match score cannot be calculated for this candidate due to the absence of a resumé.
