Manage flight changes or cancellations effortlessly with Almosafer’s streamlined post-booking support and Jisr’s integrated notification system. Keep track of all booking transactions and refunds with a comprehensive history and the ability to download detailed reports.
Flight cancellation request process
Cancellation is available only for tickets marked as refundable during booking.
If a ticket is non-refundable, the cancellation button will be disabled.
For refundable tickets, users can proceed with cancellation, and all necessary instructions will be displayed.
To cancel a booking, navigate to 'Benefits Management' > 'Flight Bookings'.
Locate the booking you wish to cancel from either the 'Active Bookings' tab or the 'Bookings History' tab and proceed with clicking on the cancellation icon.
Almosafer's support team will process the request and reach out to the user directly. The booking status will be updated to 'Cancellation Requested'.
Please note the following:
- After completing the cancellation, a pop-up will appear confirming that Almosafer agent will contact you within three days.
- If the cancellation request is declined by Almosafer, which means the user's request to cancel the ticket and receive a refund is refused, the ticket’s booking status will revert to 'Completed' and will be added back to the booking history.
- All refund operations, including acceptance, rejection, and processing of the refund until the amount is returned, are managed by Almosafer. Jisr only displays notifications and booking statuses through the integrated system.

Unpaid tickets with the status 'Pending Payment' can be easily canceled by confirming the cancellation of booking data.
Flight Refund Process
Refunded flight tickets which its refunded amounts credited to Jisr wallet or the bank card, will have a 'Cancelled' status. The booking will include a detailed breakdown, showing the refunded amount, any deducted fees, taxes, and other relevant charges.
Flight amendment request process
Only refundable tickets can be edited after booking, while non-refundable tickets cannot be modified.
To amend a completed refundable ticket, navigate to the desired booking and open it. Once displayed, click on the edit icon. All relevant amendment instructions will be shown, including any additional charges that may apply and other important information.
Once the amendment request is processed, the 'Ticket Booking Search' window will appear, allowing you to search for other flights.
Unpaid tickets with the status 'Pending Payment' can be easily amended. During this process, users will need to search for flights again with the new amendments. Afterward, they can proceed with the amendment request, which will be marked as 'Amendment Requested'.
Flight Ticket Price Change
A common scenario during flight bookings is a price change by the airline due to various factors. When users initiate a flight booking, enter all required details, and select a flight but do not proceed to payment, the booking will remain in 'Pending Payment' status.
If the user later decides to proceed with the payment, and the ticket price has changed, the system will display a pop-up alerting the user of the price change. The user will then have two options: accept the new price and proceed with payment, search for other flights, or cancel the booking.
Flight tickets expiration
When a ticket is initiated but the flight has not yet been selected, the booking status will be 'Pending Booking'. If the booking is left for more than three days, its status will change to 'Expired' and it will be moved to the 'Booking History' tab.
Flight Ticket Rejection
If any changes are made to a flight ticket booking—such as the date, time, flight route, or similar cases—by the airline, these changes will automatically be reflected on the flight booking in Jisr. Additionally, Almosafer will send an email notification to users to inform them about the change.
