In today's fast-paced work environment, effective management of employee attendance and location tracking is crucial. JisrHR offers innovative technical solutions to address these challenges with geofencing location restrictions.
Admins can now choose where attendance can be reported from one location, different organization locations, or remotely.
To configure employee attendance reporting and restriction, go to Settings > Reporting Methods > Where to Punch from.
1. Based on Schedule Settings:
One of the key features of Geofencing Location Restriction in JisrHR is the ability to enforce clock-in/out based on employees' locations in the assigned shifts. This ensures that employees can only clock in from the location specified in their schedule, streamlining attendance tracking and ensuring compliance with shift assignments.
2. Any Organization Location:
For organizations with multiple locations, JisrHR offers the flexibility for employees to clock in/out from any organization location with a defined reporting method. This feature facilitates seamless attendance management for employees (i.e. managers and supervisors ) who may need to work from different work locations, ensuring accurate tracking of their working hours regardless of their location.
3. Anywhere:
In today's world of remote work, JisrHR understands the significance of flexibility. The "Anywhere" option allows employees to clock in/out from any location, even if it's outside the range of defined geofencing locations. This feature is handy for remote or sales teams, as it enables them to stay productive and ensures accurate attendance tracking.
4. Not Allowed to Punch:
To address specific organizational needs, JisrHR offers the "Not allowed to punch" option, which restricts employees from punching in/out from any location. This feature can be useful during particular periods or for employees under disciplinary action, ensuring strict compliance with attendance policies.
Note:
- The admin can choose a default policy. If an employee is not manually added to any other policy, they will be automatically added to the default policy by the system.
- The admin has the ability to modify the policies by accessing the employee's profile. (Attendance tab > Configurations > Can report attendance > Edit ).
