In this article, the appropriate structure of the accounting entry is customized to meet the user's needs for extraction from Jisr to be compatible with sending to SAP Business One. The structure of the accounting entry is customized by specifying the settings for the automatic sending and exporting of the accounting entry file.
In this step, the admin needs to specify the display format of the accounting entry (i.e., the final format of the journal entries) to be either aggregated or detailed for each subsidiary company or cost center (if applicable) or at the employee level or based on the payment method.
1- Journal Entry Grouping: In addition to helping determine the method of grouping the journal entry and separating it based on the selected option. For example, when selecting the option of "Subsidiary Company," the system will create one journal entry file for each subsidiary company.
2- Cost Centers Information: When the admin activates this option and selects one of the available elements, the system will add the information specific to the selected elements and include their details in the line of the journal entry.
When the "Employee" option is selected, the financial transaction is specified to display employee information only for that transaction. If no transaction is selected, the employee information will appear for all financial transactions.
If cost centers are assigned at the employee level, the system will display an option to assign the employee model. Therefore, it is necessary to link the subsidiary companies with each dimension created and defined in the SAP Business One system by the finance department.
3- Journal Entry Description: The admin can customize the display and appearance of the description for the daily journal entry file and the accounting entry line by selecting the desired information to be displayed.
