To define the mechanism by which employees will be evaluated and how the results will be displayed in the performance management system, authorized admins can configure the evaluation rating methods and result presentation for performance evaluation templates within the system. Admins will be able to set up:
- Scale rating: Define the levels that can be used to evaluate employees, including their count and labels. Example: Scale 1 - Unsatisfactory, Scale 2 - Acceptable, etc.
- Percentage rating: Define the percentage ranges that can be used for evaluation, including their ranges and labels. Example: A percentage between 1% and 30% indicates a weak level, while a percentage between 80% and 100% indicates an excellent level, etc.
- Overall rating: Determine the method to display the overall evaluation results for employees. For instance, if the "Scale rating" method is selected, the overall evaluations in employee profiles will reflect the predefined scales, such as 4/5 - Exceeds Expectations.
To configure rating methods:
- From Settings, click on "Rating Methods".
- To edit any of the evaluation methods or the overall evaluation, click "Edit".
- Make the required changes and save them.
Note: The changes made will be reflected in evaluation templates that are drafts or those created in the future.
