The attendance reflection on payroll will have 4 deduction transactions in the payroll which are coming from the attendance :
- Absent
- Delay ( Late In )
- Shortage ( Early out )
- Incomplete record ( Missing Punch )

Dismissing an attendance sheet that contains all the transactions (Absent, Delay, shortage, Missed shift, Incomplete records)

>> there is no impact on payroll from the attendance ( no delay, shortage, missed shift, absent, incomplete records deductions ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with absence >> Absence deduction on payroll ( 1 day deduction ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with delay ( Late In ) >> delay deduction on payroll ( delay hours deduction ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with a shortage ( Early out ) >> shortage deduction on payroll ( shortage hours deduction ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with incomplete record >> Incomplete record deduction on payroll ( 1 day deduction ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with multiple incomplete records on the same day ( 2 incomplete records, for 2 shifts) >> 1 Incomplete record deduction on the payroll for that day ( 1 day deduction ).

In case the employee has a missed shift >> the payroll will show the transaction as below :
- Delay ( if the missed shift is the first shift )
- Shortage ( if the second shift is the missed shift ).

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with missed shift ( missed shift is the first shift ) >> Delay deduction on payroll with the number of hours equals that shift period.

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with missed shift (missed shift is the second shift) >> Shortage deduction on payroll with the number of hours equals that shift period.

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with missed shift (missed shift is the first shift) and the employee has a delay in the second shift >> Delay deduction on payroll with the number of hours equals the sum of first shift period + and the delay of the second shift.

Approved attendance sheet with an employee with missed shift (missed shift is the second shift) and the employee has shortage in the first shift >> Shortage deduction on payroll with the number of hours equals the sum of second shift period + and the shortage of the first shift.

If the employee in the attendance exception policy with delay, shortage, missed shift, incomplete records, or absence in the approved attendance sheet >> employee will not have any delay, shortage, incomplete records, or absence deduction in the payroll.
