Jisr System Provides the ability to add approved overtime manually for an employee directly by the admin or authorised user, either from the attendance module or by bulk sheet upload ( Excel Template ).
Who can add the approved overtime directly:
Admin or an authorised user ( who has edit permission on Approved overtime ) can add it.
How to add the approved overtime directly:
There are two ways to add approved overtime directly:
1- Directly from the attendance page:
The Admin or an authorised user ( who has edit permission on Approved overtime ) can add it for a specific date directly from the employee’s attendance page as below :
From the Employee profile, go to the Attendance page.
Select a specific date.
Go to ( Payroll Reflection ) tab.

From the Approved Overtime section, click on the Edit button.

Add ( approved overtime in hours & minutes ) and select ( Hourly rate x1.5 or x2 ).
Click on the Save button.
Note:
The selection of the hourly rate option should be according to the employee overtime policy, both options will be available for the employee with an overtime policy configured as double ( 2x ), and only one option for the employee with an overtime policy configured as single ( 1.5x ).
Only one approved overtime can be added manually on a day level.
The admin can delete or modify the approved overtime that has been added manually.
2- Bulk import sheet ( Excel Template ) :
The Admin or an authorized user ( who has edit permission on Approved overtime ) can add approved overtime for multiple employees for multiple dates using a bulk sheet ( Excel template ) as below :

Under the Attendance & Leaves navigation tab, click on: Attendance Tracker. Select the Tracking Tab > Import > Overtime > Select duration to download excel template.
or go to Setting > Organization Settings > Bulk Import / Export tab > Approved Overtime > click on Export > Select duration to Export excel template.

Fill in the exported file and import it again.
The date format is DD / MM / YYYY ( example: 22-06-2022 ).
Hours format should be as: HH: MM
Overtime in Minutes.
Note:
When adding the overtime type it should be according to the employee overtime policy, you can enter either double ( x2) or single (x1.5) for the employee with overtime policy configured as double, and only single for the employee with overtime policy configured as single.
Only one approved overtime can be added manually for the same day.
The system will show the name of the user who has entered the overtime manually on the attendance page, and the approved overtime report.
Is there a retroactive from approved overtime added manually in a previous payroll cycle?
No, the added approved overtime manually will not generate a retroactive.
Is there a retroactive from approved overtime via request in a previous payroll cycle?
In case an employee submits overtime via a request for a date in a previous payroll cycle and this request got approved, Yes the retroactive will be shown in the payroll table as well.
