The payroll review step is one of the most important and critical processes performed regularly by the payroll admin or the responsible employee. Therefore, it is essential for the payroll system you use to provide access to as much information as possible quickly and clearly, to facilitate the review process and ensure its accuracy.
At Jisr, we have made several improvements to the payroll table page to achieve this goal, whether in the payroll summary section or the detailed table itself. In this article, we highlight the most important of these modifications.
Note: This feature is available to some customers only and will be gradually rolled out to all customers within two months. We value your feedback on the provided changes.
How do I access the new interface?
When you open the details page for any pay run, you can simply enable the indicated option to use the new interface instead of the old one for all payrolls. Note that you can revert to the old interface anytime by disabling the same option.
What’s new in the payroll summary?
Once you switch to the new interface, you will notice the following features in the payroll summary section:
1- The ability to toggle between displaying net salary figures or the cost borne by the organization
2- The ability to filter displayed numbers using multiple attributes, such as employee nationality, department, payment method, etc.
- This filtering applies only to the payroll summary section and does not affect the detailed table on the page
3- A detailed formula showing how the total is calculated using relevant figures
4- A percentage for each figure indicating its increase or decrease compared to the previous payroll
5- Display of details for each figure when clicking its card in the formula, shown as numbers and a line chart
What’s new in the payroll table?
When you move to the payroll details table section, you will find the following new features:
1- The ability to toggle displaying details of employees included in the current pay run, excluded employees only, or all employees
2- The sorting capability is now available for all columns.
3- Use the Customize View button to add more employee data columns to the table (up to 3 columns), which will be frozen while navigating the table
4- You can also customize which columns are displayed in the table from different sections, and other display options
5- By clicking any cell in the table, you can view its details or even edit it if applicable
