Approving an expense report is an essential step in the spend management process.
An expense report groups multiple expense claims under the same purpose, such as a business trip or project, making it easier to review, verify, and approve all related expenses simultaneously.
According to the predefined approval cycle, approvers are responsible for reviewing the submitted reports and taking the necessary actions either to approve, reject, or return for correction.
From the main Spend menu, go to the “Dashboard” tab.
Navigate to the “Pending Requests” section to view all reports waiting for your action.
You’ll see a list of reports submitted by your team members or, if you’re an Admin, organization-wide reports.
Click the "View report" button to open and review.
Take the necessary action:
✅ Approve → If everything is correct, click Approve to forward the report for finance processing and reimbursement.
❌ Reject → If the report contains invalid claims, reject it and provide a reason for rejection.
🔄 Return for Corrections → If minor changes are needed, return the report to the employee with comments.
