Setting up sick leave in the Jisr system is a simple and efficient process, designed to fully comply with Saudi labor law.
Steps to Set Up Sick Leave Details
1. Click "Settings" and then select "Leave Types" under Leaves and Holidays.
2- Select “Labor law Leave” and then click “Edit” for “Sick Leave”.
3- To display the sick leave details.
Calculation Days Starting on: You can choose whether the system calculates leave based on the date of the first approved request or the calendar year.
Days to calculate: Calendar days (including working days and vacations) or select "Working Days".
Balance: Select the total sick leave balance.
Pay Rates: This feature allows you to determine the percentage of pay an employee will receive based on the length of leave. You can set the rates to comply with Saudi Labor Law, which stipulates that the first 30 days are at 100% of pay, followed by 60 days at 75%, and the remaining days are unpaid.
pregnancy Leave: You can activate the pregnancy leave option related to sick leave, which allows an additional 60 unpaid days for pregnant employees.
Probation Period: You can specify whether sick leave requests are allowed during the probation period or whether the probation period can be extended due to sick leave.
Attachments and Reasons: You can make adding a reason or attachments (such as a Seha ID report) mandatory or not.
Note: User can upload leave balances in bulk.
If you select "Upload" and then "Sick Leave Balance," the system will guide you through three simple steps to complete the process:
Step 1: Upload the template: Download the template file to avoid any data entry errors.
Step 2: Prepare the file for upload: In the file, enter the employee's first sick leave date and the total number of days they have taken.
Step 3: Upload the file: Save the file in CSV, XLSX, or XLS format and upload it directly to the system.
