What does employee Sync mean?
Sync refers to the process of updating and syncing employee information between systems.
When Sync is activated, Jisr will transfer and update employee information between Jisr and MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central, and vice versa.
In other words, when changes are made to employee information in one system, the Sync process will update the other system with those changes. For example, if a new employee is added or an employee's name is changed in Jisr, the Sync process will transfer those changes to MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central.
The benefit of Sync:
Enabling Sync employee information in the MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central account allows the admin to obtain detailed daily logs at the employee level.
Ensures Sync and Sync of employee records between the systems.
Employee synchronization is activated in the MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central account after the employee distribution process is performed and saved. The user then navigates to the settings and activates the "Sync Employees Information to MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central" icon.
Behavior:
By default, JisrHR will sync new employee records created in JisrHR to MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central.
If there is any change happening on employee information, JisrHR will sync that too, such as adjusting employee information or offboarding the employee.
If you already have employee records created in your QuickBooks account before doing the integration Setup, you’ll need to adjust the Employee ID field for all QuickBooks employee records, otherwise, JisrHR will create those employees as new records.
Employee Data mapping:
The below table shows the default field mappings.
The current employee information Sync includes:
- Creating an employee record in MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central when a new employee is added to Jisr system.
- Syncing changes made to employee information in Jisr to MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central.
- Deleting an employee record from MS Dynamics 365 - Business Central when the entire employee record is deleted from Jisr (soon).
Important note: If the user changes the employee’s ID in the Jisr system, the system will add this employee with his new ID as a new employee while keeping the employee himself with his old job number, meaning the system will read that a new employee has been added with a new ID, so the user must not change the employee’s ID in the Jisr system.
