In this step, You can define the way you want the system to generate journal entry files, the type of cost centers that would be included per journal entry line, and customize the memo description for the journal entry file and lines.
1- Journal Entry Grouping :
This configuration would group and create a separate journal entry file per the selected entity.
2- Cost Centers Information :
Once the admin activates this configuration, it would help to select required cost centers and employee information that would be included in the journal entry lines.Note: It is necessary to reorder dimension values according to the same active format and orders in MS Dynamics Finance & Operation on the path ( Financial dimension configuration for integrating applications ).
Example:
If the Finance manager determines to track costs at the employee level, Jisr will display an extra option called ( Employee Dimension ) and the admin should complete mapping steps for each subsidiary with select employee dimension at MS Dynamics.
3- Journal Templates :
This configuration would allow the admin or finance manager to map Jisr Journal Entries with one of MS Dynamic templates or more than one for each subsidiary as well.
The user can find and define (templates) for the Microsoft system through the following steps:
1- In the Microsoft system, the user clicks on (the search box)
2- Type in the search box "Journal Names"
3- Then click on "Add New" to add a new template.
4- Journal Entry Description :
This configuration would allow the admin to customize the journal entry file's description and lines.
The description helps the finance team to recognize the journal entries in the review process in Ms. Dynamic.
