Connecting Zoho Books - Prerequisites

Connecting Zoho Books & JisrHR will help minimise the manual work required to post journals and sync employee data to keep employee data & journals up to date in Zoho Books.

Note: It is recommended to have someone from your IT or Finance team who has Admin access to configure the necessary settings in Zoho Books.

Note: The integration with Zoho Books uses API version v3. and integration should work with earlier versions of the API leading up to v3, though it is optimized for v3.

Setting up the Integration :

1- Navigate to the Zoho books application page & sign In.

2- Go to the below page:

https://api-console.zoho.com/

3- On the applications page, click on Add Client.

4- Choose Server-based Applications, then click on Create New.

5- Enter the following details:

Client Name: JisrHR

Homepage URL: https://www.jisr.net

Copy the necessary link based on your hosting server and paste it in the Authorized Redirect URIs field as below:

Amazon host server clients ( AWS hosting ):

https://api.jisr.net/v2/finance/accounting/zoho_books/accounts/callback

For Saudi host server clients ( OCI hosting ):

https://api.jisr.net.sa/api/v2/finance/accounting/zoho_books/accounts/callback

Then, click on Create.

6- Copy the Client Secret Values immediately after creation, ( be sure to save it in a side note or text file when created before leaving the page ).
