What is the Salary Benchmarking feature?
The Salary Benchmarking feature in Jisr gives organizations access to up-to-date salary and compensation data from the Saudi market and allows direct comparison with internal salary structures.
The data is sourced from over 3,500 organizations and 350,000 employees across the Kingdom, ensuring accurate and reliable insights when reviewing compensation or making hiring decisions.

Clear visibility into the source, completeness, and last update of the data — so you can trust what you're comparing.
Automated out-of-band alerts
The system automatically identifies employees whose salaries fall outside defined salary bands and provides alerts and suggestions for adjustment.
Seamless integration with salary bands
Benchmarking results are directly linked to your configured salary bands in Jisr, helping you assess how well your current compensation aligns with market data and company policy.
How to access the Salary Benchmarking feature?
Once Compensation Management is enabled, users can navigate to:
Compensation Management → Salary Benchmarking
How to use Salary Benchmarking
- From the benchmarking page, use the search bar to look up a job title.
- Click on "Get Benchmark".
- The system will display a breakdown of minimum, average, and maximum salaries for the selected job title and level.
A graph shows the average salary (in blue), along with the 25th percentile (minimum) and 75th percentile (maximum).
Understanding the Benchmark Results
A table appears below the graph with the following information:
- Job level: The level associated with the searched job title
- Confidence score: Indicates how reliable the data is, based on sample size and context
- Graph elements:
- Blue bar = average salary
- Side percentages = 25% minimum and 75% maximum ranges

Customizing Benchmark Results (Filtering)
You can refine your benchmarking view using filters such as:
- Company size (e.g., 50 employees)
- Sector (public, private, semi-government)
- Salary frequency (monthly or annual view)
Example: When filtering for “Scriptwriter” in a semi-government organization with 50 employees, the system displays market data specific to that context for more accurate comparison.
