Many users raise recurring questions when using the Compensation Management module in Jisr. In this article, we've compiled the most common inquiries to help clarify key points and improve the overall user experience:
1. What if job titles don't match market data?
Each job title can be linked to a similar title from the market dataset within the benchmarking tool. The system also allows for manual customization of salary bands to align with your company’s structure and compensation policy.
2. How accurate is the benchmarking data?
The system relies on data points from more than 350,000 employees and 35,000 organizations in the Kingdom. It displays the number of data points used to create the benchmark comparison box, while indicating the reliability of the data through classifications (High – Medium – Low). This ensures a high level of transparency and gives the system a competitive advantage over traditional reports.
3. Does benchmarking support multiple currencies?
Currently, the system is designed for the Saudi market and uses SAR (Saudi Riyal) as the default currency. However, support for additional currencies can be developed based on future market needs.
4. Can salary bands be imported from outside the system?
Yes. You can download an Excel template from Jisr, fill in job family, levels, and salary band data, then upload it back into the system for seamless import.
5. How should we respond to major salary gaps?
The system provides alerts and suggestions based on benchmark data. However, decisions around salary adjustments remain entirely up to the organization and its internal compensation policy.
6. How do we balance flexibility and compliance in managing salaries?
The system offers full flexibility for manual adjustments while issuing clear warnings when values fall outside defined ranges. All changes are logged to maintain transparency and compliance.
