🚀 Launch of the "New Employee Onboarding" Feature in Jisr – A Smart Start to an Exceptional Employee Experience
HR teams go through a complex journey when a new employee joins: collecting data, reviewing it, and then entering it manually. This traditional process causes delays, errors, and drains the team's time. That's why Jisr has launched the New Employee Onboarding feature – a digital solution that reduces repetitive tasks and improves data quality, giving HR teams more time for other responsibilities.

📌 In this article: Sending the Onboarding Invitation
This article covers the first step in the onboarding process: sending the invitation to the new employee. The rest of the onboarding steps will be explained in detail in upcoming articles in this series.
✅ Steps to send the invitation:
1. From within the system:
Go to the Employee List, then to the New Employee Onboarding tab, and click the "Invite New Hire" button.
2. Entering employee information:
A window will appear where you can enter the employee’s name, employee ID, mobile number, and email address. After filling in the details, click "Next".
🛠️ Customizing the onboarding form before sending the invitation
Before sending the onboarding invitation to the new employee, the HR admin can customize the form that will be displayed to the employee, to ensure it fits the organization's needs. This is done by:
- Showing or hiding sections and fields: By clicking the show/hide icon next to each section or field.
- Marking fields as required or optional: By clicking inside a field to mark it as "mandatory" or "optional".
This step gives the HR team full control over which information to collect from the employee, in line with the job role or internal company policies.
📩 Once you click the "Send" button:
The new employee's profile is automatically created in the system, and a message appears prompting the completion of company-related data.
At this point, the HR admin has two options:
✅ Click "Add" to open the company data completion screen, which will display the next screen.
⏭️ Skip this step and continue the process without sending the additional link.
