How to calculate the "Early out" deduction (Working Hours Shortage) on JISR Payrolls

Early out "Leaving work before the shift end time" is a key factor that may impact the employees' payroll outputs. These times can be auto-calculated on JISR under the attendance section

When you choose to activate the Early out deduction button, JISR will start reading all hours & minutes where the employee was reported to be late as per the system-logged data starting after the cut-off date for the previous month and ending with the cut-off date of the current month

JISR will calculate all hours & minutes of Early out in order to calculate the total early out deduction amount as per the deduction policy selected by the organization earlier.

If the metric selected is : Full package; the full hourly rate will be deducted for each leave hour before the end of the employee's shift (early out hour)

If the metric selected is: Basic salary, the hourly rate deduction would be calculated based on the employee's basic salary amount

The same applies to the last metric; which is: Basic+ selected allowances

 

( Potential Encountered Scenarios ):

Ahmad's full salary package = 6000 SAR

(basic salary=3000 + Housing allowance=1000+ Transportation allowance=1000+ Mobile allowance=1000)

Working hours that Ahmad shall work on daily basis = 8 hours

Scenario 1: Ahmad has on his attendance sheet for March record 8 hours marked as Early out, the selected policy for Early out deduction calculation was based on the full package

Result: Deduction amount= 200 SAR based on the following calculation (6000/30/8*8)

6000=Full package

30=Days of the month

8=Working hours

8=Early out hours

Scenario 2: Ahmad has on his attendance sheet for March record 8 hours marked as Early out, the selected policy for Early out deduction calculation was based on the basic salary

Result: Deduction amount= 100 SAR based on the following calculation (3000/30/8*8)

3000=Basic salary

30=Days of the month

8=Working hours

8=Early out hours

Scenario 3 : Ahmad has on his attendance sheet for March record 8 hours marked as Early out, the selected policy for Early out deduction calculation was based on the basic salary + transportation allowance

Result: Deduction amount= 133.33 SAR based on the following calculation (4000/30/8*8)

4000=Basic salary+ transportation allowance

30=Days of the month

8=Working hours

8=Early out hours
